The three games -Starcraft, Warcraft 3, and FIFA 06- that are being broadcasted live online are extremely popular with over 600,000 page views during the webcast. This is more than two times the page views of last year's preliminary. Xia Jun Cuan, who is an active a pro gamer in Korea, qualified with 2nd place finish in the Shanghai regional preliminaries to earn a spot in the Chinese National Finals. Luo Xian, another Chinese pro gamer, is participating in the Shenyang regional preliminaries in order to compete at the National Final level.
